For a while, Raiyah had a pretty normal childhood. She had an amazing mother, an awesome father, and was pretty well known and loved in school. She was mainly known as "The Child Of The Tournament Parents", Though her parents didn't exactly win the tournament, they did very well for the Pokemon they had on their team. Two years after Raiyah was born, her mother gave birth to another baby, a baby girl named Ava, and the two were close ever since then. Everything was great for her.

Not for long, that is.

When Ray was about 11, her parents began arguing. She knew they had their disputes every now and then, but they fought more and more lately. She was scared and tried to stop the fighting herself, which got her into a lot of trouble as well. A few months later and her parents divorced, resulting in her mother taking full custody of Raiyah. Though, she wanted to be with her dad, she knew she didn't have much of a choice.

Things changed dramatically around the house after the divorce. Ray's mom became so busy with work, she barely had any time for her daughter. The divorce also caused Ray to become distant from a lot of her friends in school, she didn't talk to anyone, but a lot of people talked about her. At home, Ray and her mom would start fighting a good majority of the time, sometimes over nothing, sometimes it was about the divorce. Usually her mother was the one to start it.

A couple years after the divorce, Raiyah began experiencing a great amount of stress, lack of sleep, sometimes she would start crying out of the blue, or started panicking. One night, her mother found Ray in her room, lying on the floor with cut marks and blood spilling from her arms. She was immediately rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety.

Ray spent about a week in the hospital, to give her some time to recover. While she was in the hospital, her doctor gave her a package, inside was a Pokeball and a note from her father. All it said was, "Your mother told me what happened, I'm so sorry Raiyah. I hope this will help you." Inside the pokeball was an Abra, which introduced Mewy to Ray. Ever since then, Mewy has never left Ray's side, and when Ray had her panic attacks, Mewy was there to calm her down.

About two years ago, when Raiyah was 18, her younger sister was diagnosed with Cancer, and she was diagnosed late. Months later, she passed away. Raiyah had reached a darker part of depression she had never experienced before. Even having Mewy around, it was difficult for her to calm down. Before Ava passed away, she had given Ray a box. A week after her pass, Ray decided to finally open the box. Inside the box was a necklace, on the back the words "Big Sister" were carved into the pendent. Raiyah never took that necklace off after that.

Now Raiyah is an adult, it's time for her to move forward with her life and take on this trip to Summerset City. The only question is, is it worth it?
